Half the "opener's dead" calls on this lake are actually a door binding or a spring giving up, which is why we check the door before we blame the motor. The other half really are the motor, and both get fixed the same visit where parts allow.
The work on the sheet
- Faults. Motors that hum but don't drive, intermittent runs, doors that reverse for no visible reason. That last one is often the safety beams doing their job badly: dirty lenses, a knocked bracket, sun glare at a low angle.

The wiring line, stated plainly
Plugging an opener into an existing power point is ordinary installation work. Anything involving mains wiring, a new circuit, a hardwired connection, moving a power point, is licensed electrical work in NSW and is done by a licensed electrician, no exceptions.
