Two shores, two clocks
The same roller door, installed the same week, ages differently at Belmont than at Wangi. That's not a sales line; it's why we keep the channel-side jobs for the morning run before the southerly gets up.
- Salt rides the southerly up from the entrance: springs, cables and tracks age faster here.
- We quote galvanised tracks as standard on the Swansea side.
- Watch for rust bloom on tracks and bottom rails, and seals going stiff.
- Stiller, bushier, milder: a Wangi door on the same install date usually has more left in its springs.
- The catch is storm season blackouts. Know your opener's manual release before you need it.
- Steep blocks mean under-house garages, tight headroom and hard-working roller doors.
